City of Medicine Hat and SOUTHLAND Transportation Announce Highway 3 Connector

SOUTHLAND Transportation Ltd., in partnership with the City of Medicine Hat, is excited to announce a new route, which will connect Medicine Hat to Lethbridge, stopping at the communities in between. The Rural Transportation Pilot Project was designed to assist municipalities by expanding public transportation to rural communities. The Highway 3 Connector will stop in Redcliff, Medicine Hat, Seven Persons, Bow Island, Burdett, Grassy Lake, Purple Springs, Taber, Barnwell, Coaldale and Lethbridge. The service will operate five times a week with two round trips between Medicine Hat and Lethbridge. The service is set to begin on April 15. Tickets will go on sale beginning Monday, April 1. Discounts will apply to seniors and children 12 and under. Bookings can be made online by visiting highway3connector.ca, and over the phone by calling 1-877-3674993. SOUTHLAND Transportation will be offering the service free of charge for the first two weeks.
