Provincial Government Announces Business Tax Rate Cut

The provincial government has announced Bill 3 which will be introduced in the spring session and will roll back Alberta's General Business Tax Rate from 12 per cent to eight per cent. If the bill is passed, the tax rate will be lowered to 11 per cent effective July 1, and will continue to drop one percent every January 1st until 2022.
