Community Partnerships

2021 Annual Report

Our community partners build the connections between our members and consumers. This year we partnered with many great organizations to bring the community value during Covid-19. The Local First initiative was enacted to bring further supports during a troubled time for our community, this initiative was placed to get consumers thinking local in return to buy local. During a point of lockdown the idea to bring the product to the consumer was enacted through ShopYXH the online market place for all local businesses. In partnership we advanced the partnership with the Bow Island Chamber of Commerce. This allowed the Bow Island Businesses and their Board to focus on the relationships, while we focused on some of the administration to bring more value to their Chamber and equip them with the tools to better communication with their community with a reseeded process and a renewed web presence. Over the past year we had many great projects focused towards the growth of our business community and being able to connect students to business through Work Integrated learning opportunities and connect businesses to the funding that provided this opportunity, allowed for growth and success of both our students and our businesses . We look forward to all the community partnerships that continue to arise in future as they are important to keep Fuelling our Business Community.
