New Tools Available for Alberta Consumers

New tools have been added by the provincial government to provide consumers protection. A Business Enforcement Search Tool allows consumers access to the history of enforcement against a business. Consumer Alert Programs issues proactive warnings about dishonest businesses and a Report a Rip-off Tip Line is an anonymous line that allows consumers and businesses to report suspicious or dishonest activities.
