Lisa Dressler, Executive Director
Lisa is passionate about our community and seeing growth and prosperity within our region. She enjoys seeking out opportunities and finding out what's possible in what sometimes seems impossible. Community building is important to Lisa and she knows that to see change happen, she needs to be an active part of that change and contribute as an agent of change. The Chamber of Commerce has provided her the opportunity to put her strength and passion to work, as we strive to connect and support our business community through partnerships, networks, resources, programs and through our influence. Lisa puts her passion, knowledge, resources, connections and network to influence meaningful change in our community. Having served in this role since 2009, she brings knowledge and experience gained through the Chamber and our network, coupled with her past experiences and knowledge to serve our business community.
Becky Mae, Member Relations
Becky has been a vital part of the Chamber team since December 2022, bringing her deep connection to Medicine Hat, where she has lived since 2006. Born and raised in Alberta, Becky relocated to the sunny southeast from the Edmonton region. Since 2011, she has successfully run her own business, while also supporting and collaborating with other businesses. Many in Medicine Hat may know her through her involvement in local schools, coaching, and community initiatives.
With years of experience, Becky serves as a bridge between businesses and the broader community, fostering partnerships, collaborations, and growth. Her passion lies in continuously building opportunities within the business community and forging new relationships every day.
Brad Tajiri, Events Manager
Brad joined the Chamber team in October 2023 after re-locating back home to Medicine Hat. Born and raised in Southern Alberta he enjoys all that the region has to offer both recreationally and professionally. Brad brings a varied background and vast knowledge gained from his years spent in the retail, management, food & beverage and sales industries. He is passionate about the community of Medicine Hat, proud to be a ‘Hatter’ and loves to showcase all that our city has to offer during The Chamber hosted events.
Morgan Johnson, Communications & Marketing Coordinator
Morgan moved to Medicine Hat in 2020 from BC to attend school here, and loved the community so much she decided to stay. She joined the Chamber team in May 2023 as a summer intern, and everyone was so happy she never left! With a Bachelor's in Art & Design, the local artists, galleries and murals are what brings her joy. She’s passionate about the community, finds communication important, thinks design is fascinating and loves to support local! She's dedicated to finding creative solutions for any problems that arise and is ready to help you solve yours!
Kerry Knowles, Finance & Operations
Kerry joined the Chamber in September 2021 as the Finance and Operations Administrator, she comes with a huge spectrum of experience and knowledge in HR (administration), finance, welfare, operations, and retail. She started her career as a Data Entry Clerk in the UK, she then joined her husband who was at the time stationed in Germany and had to adapt quickly to a different way of life. In the nearly 20 years that Kerry was stationed with her husband in Germany, UK, Cyprus and finally Canada where she held various job positions in different locations displaying how highly adaptable she was to an ever-changing environment. Since settling in Canada in 2013 she has embraced the Canadian way of life and made Medicine Hat her home. Kerry is looking forward to giving back to the community where possible.
Tara Shea, Administrative Support
Tara moved to Alberta from British Columbia in 2018 and made her way here to Medicine Hat in 2022. She joined the Chamber team in February 2024 and is ready to do what she loves alongside the Chamber. Tara is enthusiastic about organization, administration, and client services, and is eager to assist in elevating you and your business! She seamlessly fits into Medicine Hat's vibrant community, embracing its 330 days of sunshine to indulge in her love for the outdoors and connect with its people.
Naomi Zacharias, Business Development Coordinator

Naomi joined the Chamber in February 2024 and is our Brooks-Newell region coordinator. Before the Chamber she owned her own graphic design business, Creepy Monkey Graphics, and therefore is already equipped with valuable skills in helping businesses define their identity and thrive! She is all about making connections, exploring the diverse business communities in the region and spending time outside. Naomi loves the area because it’s not too big, not too small and has the most amazing people; she’s ready to help you with what you need.
