From our signature events like Leadership Breakfast and the Spring Tradeshow to new initiatives designed to foster deeper engagement, we've been hard at work ensuring that every gathering helps build stronger relationships and ignites new ideas. As we continue to forge ahead, we are committed to enhancing these experiences, making sure each event is a stepping stone on the path to greater success for all our members. This year, we've been dedicated to not only sustaining the events that our members have come to love but also to innovating and expanding our offerings to better serve the evolving needs of our business community, such as introducing networking opportunities like Business, Brainstorming & Beers to bringing the Tradeshow to Brooks in the Fall. Alberta Chambers of Commerce AGM
In May 2024, the Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce attended the 86th Alberta Chambers of Commerce (ACC) 2024 AGM and Policy conference in Red Deer. One of the main reasons for attending was to announce that the Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce will be hosting next year's ACC AGM in celebration of our own 125th year anniversary! We were able to pitch our 2025 Conference and encourage people to come to Southeast Alberta and take a bit of an extended vacation to explore the Sunny Southeast and Experience the Energy that we have to offer. We provide delegates some information from both Tourism Medicine Hat and the Medicine Hat Accommodation Association to promote our region. We came away with many ideas to incorporate into next year's event and to help promote sponsorship and engagement from our local community!
2025 marks 125 years that the Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce has been in operation. Founded in May 1900, the Chamber has been around before Alberta was even founded as a province!
